Data we collect

detarame does not collect any data, including personal information. Passwords are generated entirely on your device (in the app or your browser), using only the secure random number generator provided by your operating system.

Generated passwords and settings (including saved presets) are never sent anywhere. The app and website contain no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs or scripts.

The website is delivered via Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS infrastructure may technically process connection information such as IP addresses while delivering it, but we do not use it to identify or analyze users.

Sharing with third parties

Since we collect no data, there is no data to provide, sell or share with third parties.

Storage and deletion

Generated passwords are not stored on your device or on any server. They disappear when you close the app or page.

Settings (length, character types and symbols) are stored only when you create a preset by giving it a name with Save settings, and only on that device (in your browser's localStorage on the website, or in the app's private storage on your device in the app). Presets are never sent to a server, and we never receive them. No other settings, including the last settings you used, are stored.

You can delete a saved preset at any time with its delete button in the preset list. Deleting this site's data (detarame.minimalcorp.com) in your browser, or deleting the app, removes all of them. If device backup (an OS feature such as iCloud) is turned on, the app's presets may be included in that backup.

A password is written to the clipboard only when you tap Copy. After that, the clipboard is managed by your operating system and keeps its content until another copy overwrites it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date.
